We decided to measure our customer's and employee's forehead temperatures as precautionary measure. Happy to recommended this product, it comes with a small pouch case that can be used to store the thermometer when it's not in use. There is a useful programmable alarm feature that sounds when the temperature is outside safe limits. The display also changes colour to to help highlight safe and none safe temperature readings. As advertised the product doesn't come with batteries and requires a single 9 volt battery to operate.

What I realised is that it's accurate to an extent. You may have to take the temperature a few times and get the average number rather than depend on only one take. However, great value for money. Also easy to use and has instructions etc.

Instructions incomprehensible. Comes without a battery. You need a thermometer to calibrate it anyway. If I had thermometer I wouldn’t have felt the need to but this! And one of the wires became detached while adjusting the battery, so now it’s broke.

Very frustrating when product descriptions under number of batteries required says 2 AA , although in a different section under heading Directions it say 9v battery. I ordered AA batteries only to find it was 9v needed. Trip out to buy one then fitting it was another issue. No instructions, won’t fit the space with connectors on but no room to put them on if you put battery in first. Apart from that it seems to give a different reading every time but near enough to check if you have a temperature. Buy a different one is my advice
